Little People, Big World son Jacob Roloff is the youngest of Matt Roloff and his ex-wife Amy Roloff‘s four children. He also spends the majority of his time working at and alongside his dad at the Roloff Farms. So it makes sense that when it comes to getting the farm ready for Pumpkin season he tends to bear the brunt of the load.
Little People, Big World: Jacob Roloff Steps Up So Matt Roloff Can Step Back?
Jacob Roloff seems like he is a hardworking man. He says he enjoys getting his hands dirty and getting things done. So when his dad needed some help on the farm, Jacob stepped up and took on the job. As the youngest of the four Roloff siblings, he prefers to steer clear of the public eye the most. This is one reason he opted out of his TLC contract in 2016.
However, if there is one thing he loves, it is working on the farm. So after Little People, Big World’s Matt Roloff decided to step back from the major farm duties, Jacob stepped up.
He recently posted that he had planted 1200 pumpkins at the farm to prepare for the fall pumpkin season. He is also helping with the construction of his dad’s new home and takes care of the day-to-day farm work.
Matt Passes Pumpkin Season Torch
Little People, Big World fans were especially excited to hear that Pumpkin Season 2023 was a go. After all the Roloff family drama and animosity during Season 24, many TLC viewers thought that last season’s event was the last. However, as previously reported in late April Matt gave the green light for the annual event.
He stated that they had been getting many questions about the status of the event. So the LPBW star took to social media and shared the exciting news that Pumpkin Season 2023 was definitely a go. Some fans, however, find it disappointing that admission prices have increased significantly.
LPBW: Will Jacob Take Eventually Take over Roloff Farms?
Now that former Little People, Big World star Jacob is becoming more involved at the farm many TLC viewers are curious if he may take over the family farm operation at some point. His dad has made it clear that he is getting closer to retirement and would love it if one of his children took over the business.
However, following the entire Roloff Farm sale debacle there is a lot of animosity between Matt and his older twin sons Zach Roloff and Jeremy Roloff.
Both Jeremy and Zach have since purchased their own farms. So it is doubtful that when their father steps down they would have any further interest in taking over the business.
Since Molly Roloff Silvius lives out of state, the likely candidate for the Roloff Farms takeover is Jacob Roloff. Little People, Big World fans are eager for Season 25. They say they hope to see an attempt at a family reconciliation.
Many believe that this will be the last season of LPBW. Fans admit they would feel letdown if the series does not end on a high note for the Roloff family. At this time, there are no details regarding Season 25, so time will tell how things will play out.
